Hello, I've been using a neat, new product that I think you'll find very helpful. It's a free web service called Cozi, made just for busy families like ours.
It lets me manage and coordinate schedules, organize and store shopping lists that can be accessed from any mobile phone, send quick updates or reminders to family members, and lots more.
